Expedition Overview

Ascend North Africa’s highest peak with certified Berber mountain guides, refuge overnight stay, and mule transport.

Experience the thrill of standing atop Jbel Toubkal at 4,167 meters. Departing from Imlil, hike along the Mizane Valley passing the shrine of Sidi Chamarouch before resting at the Toubkal refuge (3,207m). Rise before dawn to conquer the summit scree slope and witness sunrise across the Atlas and Anti-Atlas mountain ranges.

Detailed Day-by-Day Itinerary

Depart Marrakech early morning, meet guide in Imlil, trek 5-6 hours up to the mountain refuge. Hearty Berber dinner.

Early 5:00 AM summit push (3-4 hrs), celebrate on the peak, descend back to Imlil for hot lunch, transfer back to Marrakech.
